Mycotoxin Testing

Layer 1

Overview

During cultivation, the growth of fungus and mold can produce carcinogenic mycotoxins. Maine requires that, upon remediation of a failed batch, the mandatory retest includes mycotoxin analysis. Indicative Testing uses state-of-the-art UHPLC Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for the analysis of toxic chemicals, due to its high selectivity and sensitivity for a wide range of compounds. This ensures that the contaminants Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1, and G2) and Ochratoxin A are analyzed using the most appropriate ionization method, reducing test variability.
